Interested in joining us?

Peter Minuit Chapter has over 100 members. Meeting activities are focused on the three objectives of the NSDAR: historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotic endeavor.

 

Peter Minuit Chapter is known nationally for the enthusiasm and variety of its membership. We often invite speakers to our meetings to deepen our knowledge of American history and heritage and the work of our National Society. 

 

 

Membership Eligibility

Any woman is eligible for membership who is no less than eighteen years of age and can prove lineal descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage, and death.

Yes, the prospect of proving over 300 years of lineage can be daunting if you're starting from scratch...but WE'RE HERE TO HELP!

Our Chapter includes Genealogists & Historians, and we provide workshops throughout the year to assist with your research. Just drop us a note to say hi, and our Peter Minuit Daughters will walk with you every step of the way. 

How to get involved

We welcome all women with American Revolutionary War patriot ancestry to join our chapter. Please contact the Peter Minuit Chapter to learn more about meetings, or to join.
